Kevin Derik Adams, age 50, of Bristol, Va., went to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at his residence. He was born January 18, 1970 in Whitesburg, KY. Kevin lived most of his life in the Bristol area and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. He was an avid bicyclist having ridden all over the U.S. and was a gifted artist. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Efford Adams.
Survivors include his loving mother, Lois Stallard Adams; and sister, Marsha Johnette Adams.
Due to COVID-19, no services will be held at this time. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Bristol Regional Medical Center for their loving care and all the health care facilities who were there when they were needed.

Mrs. Adams, I was so very sad to hear the news of Kevin passing. He was such a good friend to me when we were young and I will always carry the memory of the good times we had together. I am praying for you and the family.

I’m praying for you and your daughter as you go through this hard time. I’m so sorry. Just know there is hope in the Lord when we reunite again in Heaven! May the Lord give you peace and comfort as He wraps His living arms around you. I still remember you as one of my favorite teachers at Washington -Lee.
