Kenneth F. “Ken” Sharrett, age 74, of Bluff City, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Bristol Regional Medical Center.

 

He was born April 5, 1944 in Bristol, Va. Ken was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a lifelong resident of Bristol and was a member of Fellowship Chapel. Ken worked for Unisys for 20 years and later retired from Bristol Metals. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Weddle McKeehan; and stepfather, Roy McKeehan.

 

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Judy O’Dell Sharrett; daughters, Vicki Scinto and husband Steven, and Monica Sharrett; grandchildren, Hunter Altizer, Cole Altizer and wife Lindsay, Juliana Burton and husband Jordon, Evan Altizer, Alaina Grace Altizer, Luke Johnston, and Hayden Johnston; great grandsons, Malec Burton and Tyce Burton; brother, Jack Sharrett and wife Bromley; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Phyllis Greene; cousin, Larry Wagner; and brother-in-law, Jerry O’Dell and wife Jean.

 

The funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, December 3, 2018 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Price and Rev. Cole Altizer officiating. The interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be David Rosenbaum, Eddie Williams, Bud Wright, Rob Greene, Richie Greene, and Phil Bays.
