Joseph Allen Keller or “Joe”, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021, at the age of 82 in Bristol, TN. His battle with cancer was ongoing but he was so brave and strong in fighting that adversary but in the end, he couldn’t fight covid too.
Joe joined the military at a young age, he was stationed in England where he met Angela. They moved back to the states where they had three daughters. Anyone who knew Joe had no doubt how much he loved and worshipped his family and how he loved his grandsons and how they loved him. He was nicknamed Pappy Joe which shortened to Paps and how he loved answering to that. Joe had a quirky sense of humor and was always a jokester. He was patriotic, loved gardening and woodworking and was thrilled to share his knowledge.
Joe was survived by his wife Angela and his daughters and their families, Cheri and Jonathan Royce, Trina and Matt Robinette, Beverly and Chuck Clamon; grandchildren, Chris and Amanda Blackburn, Coy, Wyatt, Briar, Jared, Heath and Justin Robinette, Cameron, Caleb and Chandler Clamon; siblings, Mary Hartsock, Martha Stigall, Herb Keller, Phil Keller and James Keller; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Joe was a very private man and on honoring his wishes it will be a closed casket and a private family ceremony.
In lieu of flowers we request donations be made to cancer research or Vanderbilt University, 3322 West End Avenue, Suite 900, Nashville, TN 37203 or online Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center.

Beverly, I’m so sorry to learn of your Dad’s passing. Keeping your family in thoughts and prayers.
I’m just is shock about uncle Joe, growing up around uncle Joe he aways stepped up looking after my welfare. And always offering sound advice, I helped him once when he delivered news papers,a job I never regretted doing. It got me a chance to have some fun and burn off energy as a young man but 3 am came too early but got used to it. I am glad to hear your mom is doing much better and I hope all the family is too. Your mom will need a whole lot of support after all this and I know you girls will be there for her. God Bless you all❤
I have such good memories of the times I spent in your house. Your dad was always joking around with us. I always felt welcomed by the whole family. I’m praying for the family and your mom. Love Kim

Thoughts and prayers from my family to yours may God-bless you all.
Angela and family,
We were saddened to hear of Joe’s passing. Although we haven’t seen him in many years, we owe having our beautiful house to Joe. He applied his infinite skills and spent many long hours to remodel and build on to our house back in 1983.
Joe also befriended my Mom and Dad and did a lot of work for them as well. Joe was a private man and we regretfully had not seen or heard from him in many years but his work and dedication will not be forgotten.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to each of you,
Rick and Kaye Malone
