Jewel M. Woodby, age 91, of Piney Flats, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Viviant Health Care. She was born September 9, 1929 in Bristol, Tenn., a daughter of the late Ernest and Blanche Gross Trivette. Jewel was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area and was a former employee of Strong Robinette and BMS Cleaning. She was a member of Rooty Branch Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Andy Woodby; and daughters, Judy Carolyn Hale and Patricia Kennedy.
Survivors include her grandson, Jerry Kennedy and wife Susan; great grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Rash, Jerry Bently, Michael Kennedy, Chance Hale and Taylor Tuemler; and sisters, Mary Collins and husband Ed, and Gladys Haws.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Rooty Branch Cemetery with Rev. Gary Rowlette officiating.
