Joni, Judy, Donna, Brenda and families – I am sitting here thinking about the last conversation with Aunt Renie. We were just waiting for her to start to feel better and this dreaded COVID settle down, so we could get back together and work on the “large family of ancestry” that we have. She has done so much work on it and cousin Jimmy Byrd and I enjoyed so much the day we spent all day with her. She is a very special and unique lady with lots of stories to tell. She was so good to me and I will miss her so much. It is so hard to believe that her and momma have already arrived at their permanent home with Jesus. I think of each one of you and how she played a huge part in your lives and how much she loved you. Something about those Byrd sisters their smiles and the love they have for their families. When you are sad and down just think about how she is smiling and worshiping her Father in Heaven. Every time you have a wonderful memory of her, write it down and you will be surprised at the collection you will have. I love you all so very much. If you need me, I am just a phone call away. Sending love, hugs and prayers to each one of you. Love your Cuz!
So very sorry for your loss. I will always remember Mrs Edmonds. Carolin Smith Kirsh
I was so sad to hear of Cousin Irene going home to be with her Lord Jesus ! Sad in the sense of the family missing her, not that she’s with the Lord Love and Prayers for all the family,
Cousin Don Byrd
I knew Irene from work at Bristol City Schools. She left a sweet essence of Jesus everywhere she went. Many lives have been touched by her faith, kindness, and true concern for others. She was a great inspiration to me. May it comfort the broken hearts of her family to know how much she was loved and will be missed.
Dear Judy and Joni and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Your sweet Mom was a joy to know. She was a beautiful lady who leaves behind a wonderful legacy of faith, family and friends. My thoughts, my prayers and my heart is with each of you. I pray your good memories and God’s grace will bring you comfort and peace during this sad time. Your family is so dear and special to me. Love and Blessings, Wanda Singleton
Joni, Judy and family, I was so sad to read of your mother’s passing. I will keep each of you in my thoughts and prayers. Your mom was one classy lady and a lovely person. The Apostle Paul wrote that to be absent from the body one would be present with the Lord, to those who loved Him. Take comfort in that you will meet her again one day. Love you so, Cindy
