Denzel Leon Campbell, age 82, of Bluff City, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Bristol Regional Medical Center.


He was born on November 20, 1934, in Bristol, Tenn., a son of the late Glen and Gladys Campbell. Denzel was a lifelong resident of Bluff City and was a brick and block mason. He was of the Presbyterian faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Elizabeth White Campbell; son, Glen Campbell; grandson, Bradley Briggs; two sisters and two brothers.


He is survived by his sons, Timmy Campbell and wife, Tammy, Charles Campbell, and Audie Briggs and wife, Sandra; grandchildren, B.J. Briggs, Melissa Lawhorn and Brandon Campbell; great grandchildren, Kyle, Jaylin, Graceland and Annabelle; and several nieces and nephews.


The funeral service for Mr. Campbell will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2017, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Rick Light officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. prior to the service. The interment will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Eastern Heights Cemetery.
