Clyde Williams Blosser, age 82, of Blountville, TN passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2019  in the Bristol Regional Medical Center.  He was born February 5, 1937 in Danville, VA, and was the son of the late Orlo and Margaret Blosser.  He grew up in Salem, VA, and was a graduate of Andrew Lewis High School. He retired from Kroger after 42 years where he served as a store manager at the Bristol and Abingdon locations.  He enjoyed golf and farming, and was a U.S. Army Veteran. 

Clyde was a dedicated worker, father, and friend to all.  Always respectful of others,  a generous man who was always willing to help.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Warren Blosser and Alan Blosser and sister, Barbara McDaniel.  Surviving are his loving wife, Joyce Blosser; sons, Michael Blosser and wife Kendall, Greg Teaster; daughters, Kimberly Painter, Becky Eller and husband Jeff, Vicki Wyatt; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; special friends, Curtis and Sue Ellen Turner, Ken and Jane Rotenberry, Bruno and Bonnie Rampazzo; his Kroger Family; and a host of other good family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held 5:00 pm, Sunday, June 9, 2019 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jerry “J.T.” Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
