Charles T. Clark, Sr., age 88, of Bristol, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at his home. 

 

He was born September 4, 1929 in Sullivan County, Tenn., a son of the late Charlie M. and Cora Pickel Clark. Charles was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area. He was a retired construction worker and farmer. Charles was a member of True Holiness Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Juanita A. Guess Clark; brothers, Albert Clark, John Lester Clark and Chester Clark; and sister, Evelyn Pickel.

 

He is survived by his daughters, Linda Kaplon and Cathy Jean Robinson; sons, Thomas Junior Clark, Charles T. “Chuck” Clark, Jr. and wife Katerina; eight grandchildren, Amanda Nelson, Tiffany Booher and husband Brad, Heather Clark, Andrea Clark, James Tittle, Freddie Taylor and wife Ladonna, Shawn Taylor and wife Tracy, J.J. Taylor and wife Autumn; and eight great grandchildren.

 

The funeral service for Mr. Clark will be held 6 p.m. Monday, January 15, 2018 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Salyers officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 until 5:45 p.m. prior to the service. The interment will be in Clark Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chuck Clark, Junior Clark, Albert Pickel, Freddie Taylor, Ben Smith and Brad Booher. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
