Charles “C.A.” Osborne, age 80, of Bristol, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
He was born December 13, 1938 in Bristol, Tenn., a son of the late Bruce and Myrtle Stophel Osborne. Charles proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area and was owner of Data Program Systems, Inc. Charles formerly attended Liberty Baptist Church and was a member of Living Water Baptist Church. He had a strong love for Christ, family, and music and was blessed to sing at many churches in the Mountain Empire Region. Charles will be remembered for his sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Patricia (Pat) Osborne; sons, Lee Osborne, and Charles Osborne and wife Leslie; four grandchildren, Dakotah, Caleb, Colin and Jacob; brother, Eugene Osborne and wife Ora Lee; and special dogs, Little Bit, Rastis, and Princess.
The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2019 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Todd Austin, Rev. Pete Booher, and Dr. Stan Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the service. Military honors will be conducted by the Bristol VFW Honor Guard. The interment will be private at Beidleman Cemetery.
