Betty Cordelia Cox Lewis, age 86, of Bluff City, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 11, 2021 at her residence. She was born May 10, 1934 in Bluff City, Tenn., a daughter of the late Clyde and Nena Simerly Cox. Betty was a travel agent and owner of Lewis Travel Agency. She was a member of Beidleman Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Deborah Graybeal; great granddaughter, Maylyn Lewis; and brothers and sisters, Russell Cox, Floyd Cox, Jewell Cox, Billy Joe Cox, Helen Rogers, Nena Lee Cross and Joyce Carrier.
Survivors include her daughter, Belinda Lewis; son, Dennis Lewis and wife Diana; grandson, George Lewis and wife Beth; great grandchildren, Jackson, Addylyn and Nora Lewis; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2021 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Garry Cole officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 5:45 p.m. prior to the service. The internment will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 15, 2021 at Crumley Cemetery.
