Joyce A. Bailey Tittle, age 72, of Bristol, TN, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 22, 1942 in Abingdon, VA, a daughter of the late Hal and Jennie Maye Bailey. Joyce was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and lived her life on a mission to out serve others. Read >
Tiny Mae Prater, age 79, of Ridge Road, Bristol, TN entered into Heaven’s Gates on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. Tiny received Christ as her personal savior at the age of 12. After moving from New Market, VA she joined with South Bristol United Methodist Church and has been a member, on the original roll book, since April 1969. Read >
Joshua Dwayne Hartsock went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 in Morgantown, WV. He valiantly fought until the end. Josh came into our lives in 1979 and each person that he came into contact with will forever be impacted because he touched our hearts and our lives. We love you Josh and will miss you so much. Jimmy Allen Jones, age 64, of Bristol, TN, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 21, 2015 in Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born in Bristol, TN on March 1, 1951 a son of the late Dewey and Eleanor Eades Jones. He lived all of his life in the Bristol area and retired from HVAC. Jimmy was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved to fish, play horseshoes and watch Nascar. He was always there when you needed him. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brothers, David, Bob, Jerry and Landon. Read >
Edward “Ed” Hicks, age 71, of Bristol, TN, died on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born December 8, 1943 in Princeton, WV, a son of the late Earl E. and Pansy Mae Pennington Hicks. Ed had resided in the Bristol area for the past 30 years.
