In 1947, Fred D. Weaver purchased ownership of Mc Neil Funeral Home which
had been in existence since 1879. Mr. Weaver opened his business on
Anderson Street and six years later, in 1956, moved the business to its
present location.
The funeral home is currently in its 119th year of operation. Weaver
Funeral Home occupies the old Caldwell home built in the late 1800's. This
majestic home has been expanded to meet the needs of Weaver Funeral
Home.
A fine, long history is only as good as what it means in service to families
today. Weaver Funeral Home is a family owned and operated funeral
home.
With over 119 years of experience, you won't find any other independent
funeral service organization that can match the variety, the
professionalism, the cooperation and the flexibility of Weaver Funeral
Services.
We offer old-fashioned hospitality, careful attention to detail, and a true
sense of warmth that Sullivan County has come to expect from hometown
friends.
Please feel free to contact us about any questions you might have. We're
always available to help.
