Clinton Carroll Hopkins, age 91, of Bristol, TN passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016, at The Cambridge House. Clinton was born July 28, 1924, a son of the late Hampton and Lula Smith Hopkins. As a young man, Clinton proudly served his country in World War II in the US Navy, having sailed on the USS New Jersey. He returned home and was a lifelong resident of Bristol, where he owned and operated Hopkins Gutter and Siding. Mr. Hopkins was proud to have been a long time member of the Freemasons. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Graybeal Hopkins, sons, David C. Hopkins and Dan Hopkins, granddaughter, Angie Lynn Hopkins, brothers, Argil Hopkins and Earnest Graybeal, and a sister, Louetta McNutt. Read >
Treva Aldridge Lady, of Bluff City, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 22, 2016 at her home. She was born in Eccles, West VA., a daughter of the late Roger and Hattie Marie Runyons Aldridge. Treva was a lifelong resident of Bluff City and worked as a home decorator. She was a member of Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Perry. Read >
