James E. “Jimmy” Curtis, Jr., age 70, of Richmond, Va., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at his residence. He was born September 19, 1945 in Bristol, Tenn., a son of the late James and Aretta Cleo Curtis. Jimmy served in the U.S. National Guard. He had resided in the Richmond area for the past 40 years. Jimmy was a Historian at the Virginia Museum of History. He was a Revolutionary and Civil War buff and was involved in many historical associations. Jimmy was a member of the Assembly of God. Read >
Julia (Louise) Johnson Harper, age 85, went to be with her Lord and savior Jesus Christ, Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Harper was born in Fish Dam, Tennessee and had lived in Bristol and Blountville, Tn all of her life. Read >
Palmer “PeeWee” Roberts, age 80, of Bluff City, Tennessee passed away February 2, 2016 at his home. He fought a long, courageous battle with cancer and will be remembered for his amazing strength and courage. He will always be remembered as a man of God; a man that loved his family and a man of integrity. Read >
